Scene 1: Tuesday, September

(A kitchen, in the morning. A table, three chairs, an armchair by the window. Victor sits in it reading the paper, a red pen in his hand. Eva comes in with Alex.)

EVA

This is the kitchen. Dad, this is Alex. From the agency.

VICTOR

Good morning, agency.

ALEX

Good morning, sir.

EVA

Right. The medicines are in the pill organiser, on the fridge. Morning, noon, night, it’s written on it. He always says he’s taken them. Check anyway.
